Football Club Napredak from Kruševac represents one of the most recognizable symbols of the sporting spirit of central Serbia and is one of those clubs that connect the „old guard“ of Yugoslav football with the modern trends of the Serbian Superliga. Founded shortly after World War II, in 1946, the club has, over the decades, become an inseparable part of the identity of Kruševac residents and the „City of Lazar.“.

Napredak gradually but solidly built its status. The seventies and eighties of the last century were written in golden letters in the club's history when the team regularly competed in the First Federal League of Yugoslavia. The greatest success of that period was reaching the UEFA Cup in 1980, which was a clear indication that European-level football was being played in Kruševac. Napredak's strength has always resided in their home, the Mladost stadium, which is considered one of the most football-oriented venues in the country, where the crowd and the pitch are close, creating specific pressure on every opponent.
The club is known for its dedication to the red and white colors and the nickname „The Stockings,“ which it proudly carries and which symbolizes local defiance and tradition. Some of the most significant names in our football, both players and coaches, have passed through Napredak's ranks, thereby confirming the club's role as a serious „talent nursery“ that regularly competes with Belgrade's eternal rivals.
Today, Napredak positions itself as a stable member of the elite tier of competition in Serbia. With a focus on modernizing infrastructure and continuous work with youth categories, the club aims to bring back the days when Kruševac was an impregnable fortress and a regular participant in the battle for the top of the league table. Their philosophy is not solely based on results, but also on maintaining a cult of local patriotism that brings together generations of fans in the stands of the stadium under Bagdala.
