

Football club Partizan was founded on October 4, 1945. In the first years of his game, he played at the "20 October" stadium, the former playground of the famous pre-war BSK. In the same place, in 1949, the magnificent JNA stadium was built, which at that time was considered one of the most modern in Europe. It was at that stadium that Partizan won 27 national championship titles - 1947, 1949, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1965, 1976, 1978, 1983, 1986, 1987, 1993, 1994, 1996, 1997, 1999, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2017.
The club won the national cup 16 times - 1947, 1952, 1954, 1957, 1989, 1992, 1994, 1998, 2001, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.
On the international stage, Partizan achieved significant success in 1966. in 1978, he reached the final of the European Champions Cup and became the vice-champion of Europe, while in 1978 he won the prestigious Mitropa Cup (Central European Cup).
