FK Sinđelić Niš holds the title of one of the oldest football clubs in Serbia. Unlike clubs that emerged under the patronage of factories or political systems, Sinđelić was founded by a group of Niš enthusiasts, students, and workers, infusing it with a pure sporting spirit. Through the decades, the club has experienced ups and downs, played in various leagues of old Yugoslavia, and has always been known as a team with a strong character. The club's historical peak in the newer era was achieved by qualifying for the First League of Serbia (second federal division), where for several seasons it competed as an equal with the strongest clubs in the country.

What makes FK Sinđelić Niš essential to the Serbian football landscape is its youth academy. For decades, the club has functioned as a perfect incubator for young players from Niš and its surroundings. Due to a calmer environment compared to city rival Radnički, as well as exceptionally professional work, young footballers here are given the space to enter senior football early and build much-needed competitive character.
Many great names have passed through Sinđelić, and the brightest example in recent history is our celebrated national team player Nemanja Radonjić, who took his first organized football steps in the Sinđelić school from Niš before attracting the attention of European scouts.
