FC Sunrise Šabac was created within the Sunrise Sports Center, a modern complex in Šabac that includes football and tennis courts, a restaurant and accompanying facilities. In the first season, the club played in the Kolubara-Mačvanska League, and later joined the First Youth League of the FSRZS.

Over the years, FC Sunrise has become recognizable for its pioneering and Petlić selections, which regularly participate in the GFS Šabac leagues. The club recorded significant results - for example, in the 2024/25 season, the Roosters achieved convincing victories against teams such as Jedinstva (7:0), Budućnosti (9:0) and Mačva 1929 (8:0). Sunrise is known for organizing a soccer school, where young talents are developed with professional coaches.
