FC Kula football school was founded in 2024 on the initiative of coach Vladimir Tošić and his associate Slobodan Kukolj. Both of them have UEFA C licenses, which is a confirmation that they are experts who have the knowledge and experience needed to properly introduce children to the world of football. Their idea was not only to start another sports school, but to create an environment in which football will become a way of life, an opportunity for socializing and a space for the development of young generations.
From the very beginning, the goal of the school was the clear popularization of football in the municipality of Kula and beyond. Soccer is the most popular sport in the world, but its strength is not only in competition and results, but in the values it conveys: team spirit, discipline, perseverance and friendship. It is these values that FC Kula Football School tries to instill in its students.
Today, the school gathers around 50 children, aged from 2014 to 2020. This means that different generations meet during training, from the youngest who are just taking their first football steps to those who already have basic experience and want to improve their skills. This variety gives a special dynamic to the training sessions, the younger ones learn from the older ones, the older ones are reminded of their beginnings, and everyone together creates an atmosphere of support and togetherness.
The training sessions are designed so that children learn the technical and tactical elements of the football game through play and fun. This involves working on basic skills such as passing, handling the ball, shooting and receiving, but also on more complex tasks such as positioning on the field, understanding the game and cooperation with teammates. Special emphasis is placed on teamwork because football is not a sport of individuals but a sport in which success depends on togetherness and mutual trust.
In addition to the sports aspect, the FC Kula Football School pays great attention to the social development of children. Socializing is highlighted as one of the main goals because it is believed that through joint activities, children develop friendships that last for years. At trainings and matches, they learn fair play, respect for opponents and teammates, but also the discipline needed to achieve results.
The founders of the school, Tošić and Kukolj, show with their work that football can be much more than a game, it is a tool for growing up, shaping character and creating healthy habits. Their vision is that the school not only creates football players, but also good people ready to deal with life's challenges.
In a short time, the football school of FC Kula became a recognizable sports project in the local community. Parents are happy to bring their children, because they know that, in addition to sports skills, they will also learn values that will be useful in their everyday life. Children, on the other hand, come with a smile because they know that they are waiting for socializing, playing and the opportunity to be part of the team.
In the future, the school's aim is to continue to grow and include even more children, to link up with other clubs and schools to give students the opportunity to compete, progress and maybe one day become professional footballers. But, most importantly, FC Kula Football School will remain a place where football is played out of love, where friendship is fostered and where a community is created that transcends the boundaries of sport.
